Innovation in Energy Award

Eastern Canada is rich in energy resources and the intellectual assets to produce those resources responsibly, safely and sustainably. Companies throughout the region have quietly developed newer and better technologies to advance the energy industry. The Maritimes Energy Association is celebrating their initiative with the Innovation in Energy Award.

To be awarded annually at Core Energy conference, we invite our members to nominate a product, service or technology that they have developed or modified for the energy industry – onshore or offshore, renewable or non-renewable. It can be software you have modified to better service the industry, an actual product you have designed for the field, or a service you are providing that is innovative, inventive and applicable to the energy industry.

You can nominate your own innovation or that of a fellow member company that you know has made a difference – no matter how big or small, no matter whether it is high-tech or plain common sense.
So join the excitement and celebrate the achievements of our very own Innovators in Energy.
To submit a nomination, send a letter to our offices, either via e-mail or Canada Post.

Please include:
• the nominee’s name (individual or company)
• description of the innovation
• the impact or significance of the innovation
• the applicable energy sector

The deadline for submissions is September 30th, 2012.
