Draft Terms of Reference Released for Pieridae Energy's Goldboro LNG Project

This is to advise that on February 27, 2013, Pieridae Energy (Canada) Limited, registered the Goldboro LNG Project for environmental assessment, in accordance with Part IV of the Environment Act.

The purpose of the proposed undertaking is to construct a natural gas liquefaction plant and marine terminal in Goldboro, Guysborough County, Nova Scotia. The facility will have a capacity to receive, liquefy and export nominal 10 million tonnes of natural gas per annum (Mtpa). The on-site gross storage capacity for liquid natural gas (LNG) will be approximately 690,000 m3 in three 230,000 m3 tanks.
