Core Energy Conference - Call for speakers

The Core Energy Conference will be held on October 1st and 2nd, 2013 at Pier 21 in Halifax, N.S. The Maritimes Energy Association presents this annual conference to showcase the energy sector in our region; the major projects, new technologies, key leaders and significant networking opportunities. The 2013 Organizing Committee is currently accepting submissions from potential speakers. Expressions of interest will be accepted until May 1st, 2013 and should be sent to Sara Colburne, Events and Sponsorship Manager (Sara@MaritimesEnergy.com). Submissions will be reviewed by the Core Organizing Committee and should your submission be selected, you will be notified by May 31st, 2013.

Speakers may propose technical sessions or keynote-style presentations on subject matter relevant to the energy industry (renewable, non-renewable, onshore, offshore, tidal, wind, biomass, supply chain, safety, logistics, innovation).

When submitting your interest, please provide the following details:

1) Suggested speaker / company
2) Speaker / company biography
3) Format (technical session, individual speaker or panel discussion)
4) Expected length of presentation
5) AV requirements
6) Contact name
7) If selected, will you or your company promote your appearance at Core Energy 2013. If yes, in what ways?

Speakers receive a complimentary delegate pass for the day on which they are speaking, including breakfast and lunch on that date. Speakers will also be featured in the event program and on the website of The Maritimes Energy Association (www.MaritimesEnergy.com) .
